FULLY FUNDED MASTERCARD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO STUDY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH UK

The Fully Funded 2022-2023 Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is currently open for interested and eligible Applicants who would like to study at the University of Edinburgh.
This Fully funded Scholarship aims to give gifted students from economically underserved and remote communities in Africa fully-funded opportunities to complete their master’s degrees, develop as transformative leaders, and support climate resilience and sustainability in the continent.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program covers tuition and travel and visas, lodging, food, a laptop allowance, health insurance, and a living stipend. Additionally, it offers money for any accompanying dependent children.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
1, Applicants must be a citizen of an African nation and be able to show that their upbringing was economically underprivileged or marginalized.
Applicant must apply to the Mastercard Scholarship program first before applying to the University of Edinburgh for a Master’s program with a maximum duration of one year, or its equivalent Online study program.

2. For admission to the University of Edinburgh for one of the pertinent degree programs indicated above, candidates must meet academic requirements.
3. Generally speaking, you must have earned a degree that is at least the equivalent of a UK Second Class (Upper) Bachelor’s (Hons) degree. Learn more about your nation’s postgraduate entry requirements.
4. Candidates must have completed their undergraduate studies by December 2022, and they must have an official, final transcript and a degree certificate to upload with their application.
5. Applications from women scholars, scholars from refugee or displaced backgrounds, and scholars with impairments are especially encouraged (see FAQs below for further information)Applicants must have a history of leadership and service within their community.
6. Applicants must be 35 years of age or younger.
Please note that we support only chosen programs that last up to one year or the equivalent in Online study. the program will not fund any other courses not chosen for its program.
TO APPLY
Academic eligibility is required in order to be admitted to the University of Edinburgh. It is preferable for candidates to apply for this scholarship before the university.
