FULLY FUNDED MASTERCARD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO STUDY AT CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY UK

The Fully Funded 2022-2023 Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is currently open for interested and eligible Applicants who will like to study at Cambridge University.
This Fully funded Scholarship aims to give gifted students from economically underserved and remote communities in Africa fully-funded opportunities to complete their master’s degrees, develop as transformative leaders, and support climate resilience and sustainability in the continent.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program covers tuition costs as well as the cost of travel and visas, lodging, food, a laptop allowance, health insurance, and a living stipend. Additionally, it offers money for any accompanying dependent children.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
Applicants must be a citizen of an African nation and be able to show that their upbringing was economically underprivileged or marginalized.
Applicant must be applying to the University of Cambridge for a Master’s program with a maximum duration of one year, or its equivalent in part-time study.

please note that we support LLM, MASt, MEd, MPhil, and MRes programs that last up to one year or the equivalent in part-time study. the program will not fund under this scheme CPGS, Master of Accountancy (MAcc), Business Administration (MBA), Master of Corporate Law (MCL), Master of Finance (MFin), MSts, PGCert, PG Dip.
TO APPLY
STEP ONE
Step one is to indicate that you want to apply for funding when you apply for admission to the university through the course directory by the funding deadline for your chosen course of study, which will either be 1 December 2022 or 5 January 2023. Check the course directory for the applicable funding deadline.
STEP TWO
Step two is to apply for funding from the Mastercard Foundation, you must fill out a separate application for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program form and explain how you meet the requirements as soon as possible, but no later than 5 January 2023.
STEP THREE
Step three is to pay a £50 application fee before you can submit your application for a Master’s program. Refer to the list in Section 3 – Overseas applicants for a list of the African nations for which the cost is automatically waived. If the fee would be a financial hardship for you and you are from a nation that does not automatically receive a fee waiver, you can apply for a manual waiver of the fee.
Please fill out the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program Fee Waiver Form and send it, along with the necessary supporting documentation, to mastercardfdnscholars@admin.cam.ac.uk. Before submitting your application through the applicant portal, you should finish this step.
If your application has a funding deadline of 1 December 2022, you must submit your fee waiver form at least five working days prior to that date (by 25 November 2022);
If your funding deadline is 5 January 2023, you must submit your fee waiver form by 19 December 2022; if your funding deadline is 5 January 2023, you must have finished the form by 5 January 2023.
